A good article about an activist named Travis Maurer who has been working towards legalization for several years.  The article gives THCF a little credit by saying;

The festival was founded by the Hemp and Cannabis Foundation in 2005 and advocates for the decriminalization of marijuana for medicinal, industrial, and recreational use.”
